26 theft cases surface after 6 of gang arrested

CHANDIGARH: Crime Branch sleuths of Haryana Police has busted a gang of thieves with the arrest of six of its members from district Faridabad. During investigation the accused revealed that they have expensive hobbies and are fond of to go to discos. They used to steal the vehicles and snatch the mobile phones to meet their expensive requirements and hobbies with the money received by sale these goods. Atleast 26 cases of theft registered in different police stations were unearthed with their arrest.Arrested accused have been identified as Sandeep, a native of Aligarh, UP, Gaurav and Vishal alias Ganesh from Gautam Budh Nagar, UP, Shyam of district Faridabad, Sumit and Pankaj, both native of district Palwal. The stolen goods recovered from them included a car, 28 motorcycles, four scooty, and three mobile phones.Official Spokeshman of Police department said that police had arrested all six accused following a tip-off from different locations..
