The girl never returned.The girl’s father, Laxmikant Prasad, lodged an FIR in the Giriyak police station the next day, accusing Priya of kidnapping his daughter. The police team also visited the red-light area of G B Road in Delhi to trace the girl, but to no avail.Laxmikant had last year also filed a petition in the court of Nalanda CJM, alleging police were acting in collusion with the accused. The same sim card was also used in the kidnapped girl’s cellphone on August 17, six days after her kidnapping.These facts were put up before a division bench of Justice Ravi Ranjan and Justice S Kumar by the Nalanda police through a counter affidavit..
