Summary:

GURGAON: CBI on Thursday told a court it had no incriminating evidence against Ashok Kumar , the Ryan International School bus conductor arrested by Gurgaon police as the prime suspect in murder of Class 2 student Pradhyumn Thakur on September 8. The boy has been detained and is currently at an observation home in Faridabad.Pradhyumn's father Barun also opposed the bail plea to Kumar, arguing that the CBI must first complete its probe. The case turned on its head after the CBI took over the probe and concluded that it was a Class 11 student of the same school who had killed Pradhyumn, purportedly to get the scheduled exam and parent-teacher meet postponed. But the agency refused to give a clean chit to him, saying the probe is at a crucial stage and it may yet collect evidence.CBI made this submission before additional sessions judge Rajni Yadav , during a hearing of the bail plea of Kumar (42), who has been in jail since the day of the murder..
