GHAZIABAD: A cigarette trader was thrashed and robbed of Rs 1.5 lakh in Kotwali area by three armed assailants on Monday evening. The trio held him hostage inside his car and assaulted him for 20 minutes before fleeing with the cash he had collected from Dadri. Jindal came out of the car after 10-15 minutes and lodged a complaint.He said there had been an unsuccessful attempt to rob his father Sunil Jindal some time ago.
