DM to hold talks with landowners for flights from Hindon air base

The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has been entrusted with the responsibility of installing streetlights on the road leading to the terminal. “Apart from this, the district magistrate has been authorised to hold talks with the farmers and bring on board those who are opposed to the new lease offered. According to the agreement, the AAI will develop the terminal while the job of building an approach road to the terminal has been handed over to the PWD. The total land required for the project is 42,000sqm, of which about 36,000sqm is owned by the 43 farmers while the remaining 7000sqm is in the possession of the housing board.
