GHAZIABAD: The pradhan of Dujana village in Gautam Budh Nagar district was arrested on Friday night for his alleged role in seeking Rs 2 crore extortion from a restaurant owner in Ghaziabad. Billu Dujana had allegedly revealed the name of pradhan Ranpal Nagar while in custody.On August 6, an extortion call of Rs 2 crore was made to Sandeep Yadav, owner of Madan Sweets and Restaurant located on Rakesh Marg in Nehru Nagar, in the name of Billu Dujana. The pradhan is accused of arranging the shooters and providing the mobile phone numbers of the owners of Madan Sweets to gangster Billu Dujana, who is currently lodged in a jail in Delhi. Based on this information, he was taken in custody and during questioning, he told us about the involvement of Nagar in operating his gang.” Nagar was supposed to get a hefty cut from Rs 2 crore which was being sought from the restaurant owners..
