Safety audit of Ghaziabad metro on February 5

This would be the second metro line in Ghaziabad after Vaishali and the first metro link connecting the interiors of Ghaziabad. GHAZIABAD: The commissioner for metro rail safety (CMRS) will inspect the 9.41-km Dilshad Garden to New Bus Adda section of Delhi Metro’s Red Line extension on Tuesday. According to officials of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the inspection will be conducted by safety commissioner S K Pathak on February 5. It was Rs 1,770 crore in 2014 after which DMRC came up with a revised DPR pegging the project cost at Rs 2,210 crore. The 9.41 Km route length is entirely on an elevated platform having eight stations in Ghaziabad namely Shaheed Nagar, Raj Bagh, Rajendra Nagar, Shyam Park, Mohan Nagar, Arthala, Hindon river and Ghaziabad New Bus Adda..
