GHAZIABAD: A 21-year-old grocery shop owner was allegedly thrashed by four youths , who were drunk, on Wednesday evening after he asked them to pay for the food items bought by them. As soon as he came out of the shop, they started beating him badly. Police said Virendra belongs to Mahendra Enclave.In a police complaint, Kapil’s brother Pradeep Yadav said around 5.15 pm on Wednesday four youths arrived at Kapil’s shop in Kavi Nagar in a Scorpio and bought some eatables “They started abusing Kapil when he sought money from them. Efforts are being made to arrest the absconding people.”.
