In 40 days Goa crosses halfway monsoon mark Naik

This week’s rainfall has taken the seasonal total to 1,430.2mm (56.3 inches) on Tuesday morning. However, the wettest spell of the season was on July 6, when 122mm of incessant rain disrupted normal life in the state. A road near the Kadamba bus stand, Bicholim, was washed away and large potholes have sprung up, making life difficult for locals. The total is soon expected to touch the halfway mark.
