VASCO: Verna police on Tuesday night arrested two Margao-based men for smuggling two elephant tusks.Police said the two tusks weighed 13.3kg and are worth Rs 20 lakh in the international market.Speaking to TOI, PI Sandesh Chodankar said, “We received information that the tusks were likely to be smuggled to Verna. The vehicle was attached and the tusks will be sent to Dehradun for an expert’s report.
