CCP to use its staff to implement pay-parking

PANAJI: After the last pay-parking contract failed to instill discipline in motorists and bring in revenue to the civic body, the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has now decided to use its own workers to implement the pay-parking system in the state capital.“Our staff will collect pay-parking fees for two months on a trial basis. It is difficult for an ambulance or fire brigade pass through with cars parking on both sides of the road at night.
