Pramod Sawant retains Parrikar’s portfolios, makes no alterations to Goa cabinet

PANAJI: Chief minister Pramod Sawant retained all the portfolios held by his predecessor Manohar Parrikar , including home, personnel, finance, vigilance and general administration.The state government on Friday allocated portfolios to the newly-sworn in ministers, with all of them retaining their earlier departments.As reported by TOI a day earlier, no alterations were made in the portfolios that were allocated to the eleven ministers under the earlier BJP-led coalition government.Deputy chief minister Vijai Sardesai will continue to head the town and country planning, agriculture, archives and archeology, and factories and boilers departments..
