CHANDIGARH: Prime Minister Narendera Modi is expected to preside over a state-level rally of the BJP at Karnal on November 1 on the occasion of Haryana Day. It was mentioned during the meeting of the BJP legislative party chaired by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar here on Wednesday.The party also decided to conduct ‘Run for Unity’ on October 31, and installation of statue of Sardar Patel in Karnal. Final plans will be discussed during the meeting of the BJP’s state executive on Thursday and Friday.During the meeting, it was also decided that all BJP MLAs and leaders would take out special marches between October 2 and 22, as an awareness campaign about its achievements. The MLAs have been directed to walk at least 15km to discuss the ruling party’s achievements and interact with the locals.Those attended the meeting were also told to ensure that they attentively hear the PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme and propagate the issues taken up by him in their constituencies..
