GURUGRAM: Northern Railways has completely revamped Farrukhnagar railway station . “Farrukhnagar water is salty, and no source of drinking water was available at station. A railway line for steam engines started from New Delhi to Farrukhnagar on February 14, 1873 from this station.The station building deteriorated with time. The history of Farrukhnagar and name of station have been written on a separate red stone, which was specially ordered. The renovation work was finished in a span of five months at a cost of around Rs 3 crore.The renovation has been done keeping in mind the station’s history, officials said..
