Hisar: HSVP officials booked for misleading court

Vijay told the court that he did not have an account in Axis Bank, following which the court ordered an inquiry. Apparently, HSVP officials opened dummy bank accounts of farmers and told the court that they had settled claims worth Rs 117 crore.The matter came to light when the court asked landowners about the compensation money from HSVP and was told they had not received it. However, HSVP submitted in court that it had paid Vijay in his Axis Bank account. Following Supreme Court directions, HSVP headquarters released around Rs 117 crore for landowners.When landowners filed applications in court to collect the compensation amount, HSVP officials said they had transferred the money into their accounts.Vijay told the court that he had provided the bank account number of Canara Bank , identity (ID) proof and other documents to HSVP but did not get any money..
