AMBALA: In connection with the case of sexual abuses and bad touches by an accused hostel warden Peter Gaitley of a boarding school in Ambala , the cops have not even recorded the statements of the survivor students so far.Apart from the accused Peter, no one else has been named in the First Information Report ( FIR ) and copy of the counseling report demanded by the police from the District Child Welfare Committee (DCWC) has been denied too. The education department has also submitted its report to the DC and the copy of which is not provided to the CWC, and we are going to write to the district education officer (DEO) to provide the copy of their report to our team. In our report to the senior officials, we have already highlighted the negligent functioning of the police and the education department.”Paramjit Singh Badola, member -HSCPCR said, "In a day or two I will also visit the school, the cops had demanded the copy of counseling which is confidential and it can only be presented in the court.".
