Gurugram: New sector residents donate blood, seek health amenities

If metro comes to the new sectors our travel time will get much shorter.” Daljeet Singh, a resident of Sector 82, said, “We have always heard that metro connectivity will be made with the new sectors but nothing has been done so far. “If there is a health emergency, the only road we can take to reach the nearest hospital passes through the Kherki Daula toll plaza, which is a pain in itself. GURUGRAM: Residents living in sectors 80-115 came together on Monday and organised a blood donation camp to highlight the issue of lack of health facilities in new sectors.More than 100 residents donated blood in the camp that was organised in Sector 83, and 97 units of blood were sent to AIIMS in New Delhi.When asked for the reason for this unique style of protest, residents said that they wanted their voice to be heard without disrupting public life..
