KURUKSHETRA: A total of 103 class representatives (CRs) have been elected unopposed in the student body elections of Kurukshetra University (KU). “The elected CRs will chose the members of the KU campus students’ executive council (KUCSEC) among themselves. There are 224 seats of CRs in 48 departments in the KU campus students’ council out of which 81 seats have no claimants.KU election commissioner Prof N N Dogra said voting would be conducted for the students’ council on Wednesday.“In the absence of any candidates on 81 seats, toppers may be nominated by the departments concerned as CRs.
