Kin of martyrs will be given Group B jobs too

JIND: Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday announced that widow of martyred Major Sanjeev Lathar would be given with a government job under the Group-B category. Khattar has said that besides several other measures taken for the welfare of families of martyrs, the state government had decided to give jobs to their dependents. A park has been developed in the memory of the martyr where his statue has been installed. The state government would be making changes in its policies to effect the decision as so far only Group C and Group D jobs were given to the dependents of martyrs.Khattar was addressing a rally in Julana town of Jind district on Sunday. He also unveiled a statue of Major Lathar in the Buda Khera Lathar village of Jind district.“Martyrs like Sanjeev Lathar are a source of inspiration for the youth, and to keep their memory alive, his statue has been put up,”he added.Apart from this, a law college and an educational institution would be opened over 25 acres in village Buddha Khera in the memory of the martyr..
