Following NGT orders, DTCP has formed four teams in Gurgaon to conduct checks in construction sites. Gurgaon: The department of town and country planning ( DTCP ) has issued challans to three sites where for construction was continuing despite a National Green Tribunal ( NGT ) ban. A fine of Rs 1 lakh has been imposed in each case, which is the highest penalty that can be imposed by district authorities.There is a blanket ban on all construction till November 10 in the whole of NCR, including Gurgaon, aimed at controlling the high levels of air pollution in the region. These teams are monitoring the situation and compiling a daily report, which is submitted to the state pollution control board.The ban was imposed on November 1 and till November 5, the teams have found three sites, including a commercial site in Jauri Khurd, a warehouse in Bhora Kalan and a motel in Binola, where construction activity was continued..
