GURUGRAM: NHAI has awarded the contract for the construction of a U-turn at Ambience Mall and a unidirectional flyover at Shankar Chowk , and work is expected to start by the end of November.NHAI officials said Ram Kumar Contractor has been given the projects. The contractor will build a 545m-long service road for the underground U-turn at Ambience Mall and a 490m-long service road for the elevated U-turn (the unidirectional flyover) at Shankar Chowk.The cost of building the underpass will be shared between NHAI, Ambience and DLF Limited while for the elevated U-turn at Shankar Chowk, NHAI will contribute 75% and GMDA 25%. “The letter of award has been given to the contractor and the work on this site will start by November end,” said Ashok Kumar Sharma, NHAI project director, Gurugram.NHAI has set a speed limit for both projects..
