Summary:

Gurugram: Sector 23A is reeling under acute water shortage for the past couple of days. “We are buying water from tankers at exorbitant rates,” said Aseem Takyar, president of Sector 23A RWA. “The boosting station is near the market area of Sector 23A and ever since it has stopped working, we are in deep trouble,” said Manoj Bhardwaj, another resident. In October, supply to the sector was affected due to work at the Basai water treatment plant. Residents say their taps have gone dry as the discom has disconnected supply to a motor pump in the area in the wake of Huda failing to clear dues..
