ROHTAK: A high alert has been issued in Rohtak on the eve of verdict related to godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh lodged at Sunaria Jail complex at Sunaria Kalan here. Security has also been stepped up near the Sunaria jail where Gurmeet is serving 20 years jail term after being convicted for raping two women disciples by the same CBI court in August 2018. Sources said that police were keeping special tab on Panipat-Chandigarh highway suspecting the entry of dera followers through this route. Police have also activated its IT cell to keep a tab on spreading of rumours on social media. Police have intensfied patrolling at sensitive spots and started scanning the vehicles going towards Sunaria jail.All vehicles registeration numbers are being recorded before letting them pass close to the jail premises..
