Firms booked for illegal mining activities in Naraingarh

This year we have registered several cases of illegal mining and till date, we have made nearly 22 arrests.” AMBALA: Police have filed three separate cases of illegal mining against different firms in Naraingarh following complaints by district mining official Bhupinder Singh.After conducting a surprise check, the officials found sealed screening plants operational on January 10.Bhupinder Singh told TOI, “The teams of the district administration had sealed nearly 18 illegal screening plants on August 31. During our inspection on January 10, we found five of those plants operational again. Later, during a surprise check on December 19, nearly 6 sealed plants were found operational which were resealed by the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) team on January 2.
