Firm owners booked for breaking sealed units

AMBALA: Following complaints of district mining official (DMO) Bhupinder Singh, Naraingarh police have registered three separate cases of illegal mining against different firms. This year, we have registered several cases of illegal mining and made nearly 22 arrests,” said Naraingarh deputy superintendent of police Amit Bhatia. The cops said the cases were registered after the district mining official, during his surprise visit, found resealed screening plants operational.“Teams of the district administration had sealed nearly 18 illegal screening plants on August 31. Later, during a surprise check on December 19, nearly 6 sealed plants were found operational and were resealed by a Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) team on January 2.
