GURUGRAM: The crime branch of Gurugram police has arrested three alleged criminals after a brief shootout in Farrukhnagar on Tuesday. Officers of the crime branch said they set up a check post on Jhajjar road after a tip-off and intercepted the trio, who were travelling on a bike which had no registration plates, at Mubarikpur. When police tried to stop them for checking, they opened fire on the cops. In retaliation, the team also fired a few rounds and managed to arrest the accused. Cops recovered two country-made pistols, six bullets and a stolen bike from their possession.The accused were produced before court on Tuesday and sent to four days’ police custody..
