Toddler in borewell: Hisar farmer booked

HISAR: Hisar police on Monday booked a farmer in the case where a toddler had fallen into open borewell in Balsamand village of Hisar on Wednesday. Nadeem was safely evacuated on March 22 with the help of the district administration, Army and NDRF team and the villagers and is undergoing treatment. He said that Teluram had dug a well on panchayat land near his farm at Bhadra road in Balsamand village. The district authorities are, however, not sure if they would be recovering the cost of the 48-hour long rescue operations to save the child.
