Ambala: 1,800 boxes of illegal liquor seized in Saha, 2 held

The liquor traders have connived with a factory owner his employees to transport it on a forged excise permit. The actual permit was issued for a vehicle with number HR37D2499 but the liquor traders showed it's status as break down and loaded the liquor in another truck bearing HR37D0380 number. The actual permit was issued for a vehicle with number HR61C1766 but the liquor traders showed the status of the vehicle as break down and loaded the liquor in another truck bearing HR66B7470 number. A total of 900 boxes of Raseela Santra brand liquor have been recovered from the vehicle,” the first FIR stated.As per the second FIR, “the illicit liquor was being transported from village Badhouli factory to Gharaunda.
