Summary:

"Around 70% of the Aravalis has identical vegetation and is classified as 'gair mumkin pahar'. There is fear it could set the example for more realty projects to be allowed on such land, which is an important component of goundwater recharge. Trees, shrubs, herbs and grasses of the Aravalis absorb dust particles, hold moisture and bring rain. "If the Aravalis are gone, then a desert storm is bound to hit the NCR. And 6,000 trees have already been allegedly felled for the project..
