Ryan murder: CBI suspect sent back to juvenile home, police suspect out of jail

Gurgaon | Thursday | 23rd November, 2017

Summary:

The CBI claims the juvenile suspect killed Pradhyumn because he wanted the exam scheduled that day and a parent-teacher meeting deferred. The CBI also denied allegations levelled by the juvenile suspect's father, through an application on November 11, that the agency had violated rules laid down for interviewing a minor offender. The board had issued a notice to the CBI. He told the court the suspect had been allowed to meet parents on non-mandated days. "CBI maintained they have not violated the juvenile justice board's direction," said the suspect's counsel Sandeep Aneja. But he said the CBI had failed to elaborate on the specific time and date mentioned in his application highlighting the violations. Aneja will argue against the CBI's reply on November 29.Pradhyumn was attacked in the ground floor washroom of Ryan's Bhondsi campus on September 8..
