GUWAHATI: The anti-smuggling unit of customs seized 11 gold biscuits of foreign origin worth Rs 44,96,385 from a person in Hojai district on Wednesday. SP (Cachar) Rakesh Raushan said 100 packets containing 195 tablets - suspected to be of 'World is Yours' variety - worth Rs 2 crore were seized by the police. Sources said acting on a tip-off, cops raided the hotel in the morning and found the drugs from a room.
