GUWAHATI: In yet another incident of sexual abuse of a minor in Assam , police arrested a security guard of a residential apartment here on charge of sodomising a 12 year old boy. The arrested security guard has been identified Kabindra Phukan of Phulaguri, about 100 KM from here, in Assam’s Morigaon district.“As soon as we got the complaint, we promptly arrested the accused. In Dhubri , about 300 KM from here, a 24-year old Nurjamal was arrested while trying to rape a minor. Chandmari police station officer in-charge Biren Chandra Deka said that the incident happened at 9 PM on Wednesday. We are waiting for medical report on the victim,” Deka said.Also police arrested a youth Anjan Kalita from Japorigog area here on charge of sexual harassment of a girl on Wednesday..
