Tai Ahom students block NH in Sivasagar

DIBRUGARH: Hundreds of All Tai Ahom Students' Union (Atasu) activists on Wednesday blocked the NH-61 at Halwating in Sivasagar district, demanding construction of a border outpost (BOP) in the F-sector area near the Nagaland border. "Border conflict between Assam and Nagaland border have been going on for five and a half decades. The Nagaland government should stop Naga miscreants from collecting illegal taxes from our villagers.
