DIBRUGARH: After absconding for over two months, Geetashree Khargharia, the daughter-in-law of Sivasagar couple Rajani and Ruby Khargharia, surrendered before the chief judicial magistrate's court at Sivasagar on Thursday.The Khargharia couple had committed suicide at their rented house in Sivasagar town on July 1, blaming their son Debashish and daughter-in-law Geetashree for pushing them to the act.She was remanded to two days of police custody by the court. The couple is said to have sold all their property to secure a job for their son, but after getting the job he abandoned his parents.One of the three married daughters of the deceased couple filed an FIR at Sivasagar police station against her brother and sister-in-law, holding them responsible for their parents' death..
