Trination motor rally reaches Agartala

Summary:

Agartala: Participants of the India-Bangladesh-Myanmar motor rally , which is being held to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, arrived here on Tuesday via the Akhaura integrated checkpost. It is being led Shambhu Singh, additional secretary of Union ministry of road transport and highways. The rally, comprising 35 participants and 10 vehicles, will cover 7,250km in 22 days across countries. The rally reached Agartala after covering a distance of 157km. It will now pass though Assam and Manipur before concluding at Yangon in Myanmar on February 24..
