STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Celebrating the special bond between brothers and sisters, the city is in preparedness for the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Although the festival is not native to the indigenous of the State, the rituals associated with this festival has spread beyond their traditional regions. Rakhis of varied shapes and designs adorn the windows of city shops. Meanwhile, young students from Mother's Pride school had a pre-celebration on Wednesday and observed Raksha Bandhan at Bhangagarh police station, where they tied rakhis on the city police officials.
