STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: In the past 13 days, the Food Safety Department has closed down 28 hotels and restaurants for not complying with safety norms. Senior officer of the Food Safety Kamrup (M), Tarun Das informed that upon investigation, the work places were found to be unhygienic and unsanitary. Moreover, even the licenses of some of the eateries were missing. He further stated that the investigation will continue in the future to ensure safety of health of the city residents.
