STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Doctors in various organizations took to the streets on Tuesday in condemnation of the mob lynching of veteran doctor Deben Dutta. GMC doctors staged a protest rally while IMA carried out a 24 hour State-wise protest From Tuesday 6 am to Wednesday 6 pm. The Guwahati Medical College Teachers' Association and the Junior Doctors' Association also participated in the 24 hour protest rally. The associations demanded that the State doctors are provided with adequate security for their safety and to prevent further cases as was faced by Dr Deben Dutta.
