The Union Minister was in Guwahati on Wednesday at a party workshop for the north-eastern zone as part of the one-nation one-constitution campaign. Talking to the media on the sidelines of the workshop here on Wednesday, Singh said: “A team from the DoNER Ministry will tour Jammu & Kashmir from tomorrow with a view to implement the Northeast development model in the newly-created Union Territory. In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did plan the development of the Northeast and Jammu & Kashmir. In the past five years, a development model was put in place in the Northeast, leading to development of infrastructure and projects.
