On Tuesday, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati has added a high powered grass cutting machine in its operational area to check and reduce the growth of tall grasses. This is first of its kind grass cutting machine deployed at any North Eastern Airports. Before commissioning, the grass cut machine was unveiled by Shri Ramesh Kumar, Airport Director- LGBI Airport, Guwahati at a function inside the central workshop of the Airport in presence of AAI officials. The Guwahati Airport is presently connected with 20 domestic destinations and will get new International connectivity to Bangkok by Thailand bases budget carrier Nok Air.
