STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: The Assam State Jamiat Ulama (ASJU) president Badaruddin Ajmal stated that names of several Indians are missing from the NRC. Ajmal released a press statement on Saturday where he said that the inaccuracy in NRC is due to a technical error. He also informed that the ASJU will extend a helping hand to all the genuine citizens irrespective of caste and creed, who are in troubled waters over NRC. Ajmal stated that he had already informed the organization members to meet the people whose names did not make the final draft and aid them.
