Summary:

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: The All Assam TET Qualified Primary Teachers' Association has demanded immediate regularization of all working contractual TET teachers with pay protection and declared that they would resort to mass agitation if their request is not complied with. The association stated in a release that they would stage a remonstration on September 13 in front of the office of the Elementary Officer in every district. If that fails to grip the State government's attention, then the association threatened to lock the office of the Elementary Officer in every district. And if even that fails to trigger a reaction, then they would launch the 'Delhi Chalo' agitation to elicit the reaction of the Central government. The presedent of the association Traloikya Deka said that the Education Minister has fallen back on his own party's assurances..
