STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Mystery surrounds over recovery of 38 containers of heroin from the residence of businessman Rajesh Himatsingka in Kamakhya Nagar under Bhangagarh police station on Monday night. Sleuths of CID with the help of the Bhangagarh police recovered and seized heroin which were hidden under a cozy sofa (furniture) in the drawing room of Himatsingka. The CID has registered a case (22/19) under Sections 21(a)/29 of NDPS Act. CID sources quoting family members of Himatsingka said two other noted businessmen visited the former's residence on Monday evening.
