GUWAHATI: The Department of Applied Psychology, NERIM, in line with the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), observed the 'World Suicide Prevention Day' on Tuesday. The theme for the programme was 'Working Together to Prevent Suicide'. The programme was inaugurated by Prof (Dr) Sangeeta Tripathi, Director of NERIM. The idea behind the entire celebration was to create awareness among the people for preventing suicide.
