STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Veterinary minister Atul Bora announced that an ambulance for livestock will soon be available for service that will tend to the needs of cattle in crisis. Addressing the press at Janata Bhawan in Dispur on Friday, Bora said, “Like the 108 ambulance service in the State, we have launched a pilot project where six livestock ambulances will be introduced. “Presently in Assam, livestock census is being done. The National Livestock and Poultry Show – 2019, Assam, will be organized by Animal Husbandary & Veterinary Department, Assam & Assam Livestock & Poultry Corporation from November 7 to 10, at the College of Veterinary Science Playground, Khanapara. The event will also showcase the potential of Northeast in terms of animal husbandry,” said Atul Bora..
