STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: Recent changes were made to the bus routes of the city buses that started from Panjabari, in view of the acute traffic congestion at the Ganeshguri road. Now, the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Kamrup Metropolitan has issued time cards for the city buses so that they run at their respective stipulated time schedules only. An awareness pragramme was organized at Khanapara on Monday, where along with members of the RTA and City Traffic, city bus owners, drivers and handymen were present. RTA secretary Bapon Kalita said, “There has always been an unannounced competition among the city buses to outrun each other which has resulted in many unfortunate incidents.
