GUWAHATI: With a view to make tourists aware of the heritage, history, and culture of the Guwahati city, Assam tourism department has started a new innovative initiative named “Guwahati Heritage Walk” on Friday. During the launching ceremony, the director of Assam tourism Deba Kumar Mishra and the MD of ATDC Bhaskar Phukan were also present. The chairman of Assam Tourism Development Corporation, Jayanta Malla Baruah opened the tour at 5 am. The Assam Tourism divisions were requested to continue this attempt to extend the field of Assam Tourism.
