In a similar incident, a particular page on Facebook 'Assamese Online' has been slammed for sharing malicious content regarding community, religion, etc. The police administration has requested Facebook to pull down the page as well as provide details of the administrator operating the page. Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar said that the nodal officer of Facebook India was contacted to enquire into the matter.
