Staff ReporterGUWAHATI: With people from all over Assam standing against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB), over hundred of writers and artistes of the State also took to the streets opposing the Bill in their own ways on Sunday. Eminent intellectuals, litterateurs and artistes from different parts of the State came in to oppose the Bill and expressed their resentment at the protest programme organized at Guwahati Club Rotary on Sunday. The writers and artistes society stated that they would take awareness drives to make people aware of the possible negative effects of the Bill. Speaking against the Bill katha shilpi Apurba Kumar Sarma said, “Some are labeling our protest as language-centric.
