CM Sarbananda Sonowal lays foundation of flyover in Guwahati City

State PWD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present at the function. During the ceremony, Sonowal laid stress on indigenous people of the State coming forward for the development of the State by playing bigger roles. The total project cost of the longest flyover in the city is Rs 127.20 crore and it is scheduled to be completed within 36 months. Sarma expressed his hope that the flyover would be completed in two years even as its scheduled completion period is three years. Guwahati Development Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Dispur MLA Atul Bora also spoke at the programme which was attended by Commissioner and Secretary of PWD Rajesh Kemprai and several other dignitaries, a press release said..
